May attacked on street Lebanese TV star and model May Khalil was viciously attacked in Beirut. The incident happened while Khalil was preparing to shoot a TV programme. She parked her car and walked on the street when a young man came up to her and said: "I want to talk to you". Khalil ignored him but he followed her and hit her with an iron object on the head. She fell on the floor, blood covering her face and was rushed to hospital. The star suffered from multiple injuries and recieved 15 stitches in the forehead and scalp.
