Dubai: Kerri Walsh made history by winning the Jumeirah Park Beach volleyball tournament and equalling the record for most Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) titles on Saturday night. Partnering Nicole Branagh, they beat follow Americans Jen Boss and April Ross to take the Swatch FIVB World Tour event 21-18, 21-19 in a final, which lasted 46 minutes. "It's a great moment, not because I equalled a record but because we won. Every time I win a tournament it gets so special for me," said the six feet, three-inch Walsh. She equalled her long time partner Misty May-Treanor's record and together they won 35 FIVB title. Thirty-year-old Walsh, who hails from San Jose, California, is known as 'Six-feet of Sunshine'.
