ICL helps Lankans get the exposure: Russel Arnold

13 Oct, 2008 0018hrs IST, TNN / Hari Hara Nandanan HYDERABAD: The Sri Lankan approach to ICL is most sensible, according to retired all-rounder Russel Arnold. The 35-year-old former Lankan left-handed batsman and off-spinner, who played his good part in Chennai Superstars with an unbeaten 42 on Saturday night, said the authorities, who were trying to prevent ICL players from participating in other competitions in their own countries, are not justified in their actions as it will amount to infringement of an individual's right to play where and when he wants. "These authorities are jumping up and down trying to put roadblocks before the players," said Arnold, who finished off the match against Dhaka Warriors with a six.
