ALAMEDA CO., Calif. -- Saturday night saw three car crashes, two being fatal, within four hours on Highway 880. The first crash occurred when a pedestrian was killed late Saturday night after being hit by a vehicle on northbound Interstate Highway 880 in Fremont, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision was reported at about 11:15 p.m. just north of the Mowry Avenue exit on Highway 880, according to CHP Officer Marc Johnston.
