Zeecric Bureau Hyderabad, Oct 12: Hamish Marshall’s sizzling innings of 76 not out helped Royal Bengal Tigers prevail over the Lahore Badshahs by 8 wickets in an enthralling encounter of the Indian Cricket League played at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. Badshahs’ skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq won the toss and elected to bat. The Badshahs opened with their formidable combination of Imran Farhat & Imran Nazir who got off to a steady start; placed at 22 for no loss at the end of the first three overs. Some tight bowling, assisted by some sharp fielding resulted in a mix-up in the middle and Nazir falling short of his crease to give the Tigers the first breakthrough in the 5th over with the Badshahs at a score of 28.
