San Angelo man, 20, killed in shooting following ongoing dispute

Staff report Originally published 01:00 p.m., October 12, 2008 A 20-year-old San Angelo man died late Saturday after a shooting related to a dispute he had been having with someone for several days, city police said. About 10:39 p.m. Saturday, San Angelo patrol officers were dispatched to a parking lot behind Texas Roadhouse to investigate the report of a shooting, a police news release states. About 10:42 p.m., the first officers arrived at the parking lot at 3021 Green Meadow Drive, where they discovered a red parked car and a man laying on the ground near the driver's side of the vehicle. The man laying on the ground, identified as Robert D. Fahlstrom, 20, of San Angelo, appeared to have a bullet hole in his chest and was unresponsive, police said. Officers Richard Dahl and James...
