Presidential candidates crank up attacks

Barack Obama and John McCain are trying to win over voters in battleground states. (Bay News 9) -- With just a few weeks to go before the presidential election, the candidates are hitting the campaign trail -- and each other -- hard. Bay News 9's Republican political analyst, former Gov. Bob Martinez says the attacks are simply part of the business. "The desire to know what the other candidate stands for has always been in American politics, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that," Martinez said. "If it didn't work they wouldn't do it."
