TGS 08: Microsoft Holding Off on Delisting XBLA Games

John Schappert says they have "no immediate plans" to take down any XBLA titles. By Kris Pigna, 10/12/2008 Earlier this year, Microsoft stirred up a small hubbub when they announced they would be delisting some Xbox Live Arcade titles that met certain criteria of underperformance -- slow sales, bad reviews, etc. But at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this week, Xbox Live corporate vice president John Schappert told IGN that won't be the case. Rather, Schappert said Microsoft has only ever "set parameters by which we can delist," but insisted they wouldn't move forward on limiting the size of XBLA titles offered.
