Friday October 10, 6:59 pm ET American Airlines flight attendants picket at airports to protest working conditions FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- American Airlines flight attendants carried picket signs at several airports Friday to protest what they called poor working conditions at the nation's largest carrier. Leaders of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants said they wanted to inform travelers that employees are working under tougher conditions because of crowded planes and the collection of new fees on passengers.
