Halloween Dried Apple Witch

When I was in scouts as a girl we loved only one thing better than our yearly camping trips to cabins in the deep woods and that was making craft items in order to earn a “Creativity Badge“ for our green sashes. Each fall brought new exciting projects that kicked us into the spooky Halloween season, sure to not only earn us scout credits, but to also peak our creative flair for unusual projects. One project I will never forget that I would like to pass along, especially to youngsters, is the Halloween Dried Apple Witch. It is actually an early American Folk art that was crafted by early settlers.
