John Paul II High School Honor Society raises funds for Hurricane Ike Victims

The National Honor Society at John Paul II High School showed that they truly believe in their school’s motto, “Seek to Serve”, by pulling together in the wake of Hurricane Ike to help those affected by the disaster. Through a well-organized drive, the NHS raised $1,243 for the American Red Cross which will directly benefit the hurricane victims. The check will be presented to the American Red Cross / Dallas Area Chapter representative during a pep rally on October 24. The donations were given by the JPII HS students & faculty members who understood the need to help their neighbors in the Houston/Galveston area.
