CSU's runnning game tough enough? Johnson offers proof

Gartrell Johnson, the bruising but soft- spoken Colorado State running back, set a goal for this season. Sure, he would love to rush for 1,600 yards, but his goal was personal and one that never will show up in the CSU media guide. Opposing teams have stacked their defenses to stop the run this season, but Johnson and the Rams took a big step toward his goal in Saturday's win against Nevada-Las Vegas.
