WaMus list of creditors grows to nearly 1,000 pages (at bizjournals.com)

Puget Sound Business Journal (Seattle) Washington Mutual’s list of potential creditors has grown by the thousands and now encompasses hundreds of Seattle-area nonprofit organizations, agencies, businesses and governments, including the Seattle Mariners, the city of Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks. The failed Seattle bank has filed another list of potential creditors that is 917 pages long and encompasses about 12,800 businesses and individuals across the country. About 700 of those potential creditors — and possibly more — are tied to the Puget Sound region. The new list is an addition to a 47-page list filed earlier this week that names about 700 creditors nationwide, including Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT), Expedia Inc.
