Oct 10. RusHydro and Inter UES could participate in the implementation of power utilities projects in Kyrgyzstan. Participation of Russian companies in the utilities sector of Kyrgyzstan was discussed at the meeting of the intergovernmental committee on cooperation, a source familiar with the situation said. According to the minutes signed after the meeting, Russian and Kyrgyz companies could set up a JV to implement hydro power projects. Kyrgyzstan intends to build a cascade of Kambaratinskye HPPs, HPP-1 and HPP-2, and Inter UES so far participates in the project as an organizer of a tender to prepare a pre-feasibility study.
