GULBARGA: Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly M. Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday demanded that Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa convene the session of the Legislative Assembly immediately to discuss the “deteriorating law and order situation and unabated attack on churches and Christian prayer halls in the State”. Mr. Kharge told presspersons that the Assembly session was due to be held in November, but this should be advanced to discuss several issues including the attacks on minorities.
