Timesys Intros Embedded Linux ReadyKits for ARM-based Processors

ReadyKits are now available for the Freescale i.MX27, Freescale i.MX31, Texas Instruments OMAP 35x, Atmel SAM9260 and Atmel SAM9263 processors, Timesys officials say. The new apps provide a starting point for new embedded development by providing a pre-built, tested and easy-to-install Linux platform that includes Linux kernel which is pre-configured for the processor, complete suite of device drivers for the development kit, GNU-based cross tool chain-based root file system – including select development libraries and open source code.
