Irish star Ronan O'Gara has lashed out at "crazy rumours", including a supposed gambling addiction, in his newly-released autobiography. O'Gara will line up in the No 10 jersey for Ireland when they face the All Blacks in Dublin next month. By then his book is expected to be a best-seller in Ireland, lifting the lid on a variety of rumours which circulated about him during Ireland's ill-fated 2007 World Cup campaign in France. But O'Gara writes in his new book that the most damning was a rumour that JP McManus wiped out supposed debts running into six-figures.
