October 10th, 2008 – 2:03 PM by Judd Zulgad Antoine Winfield’s 59-yard return of a blocked field goal for a touchdown Monday night at New Orleans proved to be a costly one. Winfield, who grabbed the center of the goal post and slid down it, was fined $10,000 by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct (using the goal post as a prop), according to a league official. Meanwhile, receiver Robert Ferguson was fined $5,000 by the league for unnecesarily striking an opponent late on a third-quarter punt return by the Vikings.
