Formal sentence in videotaped sex killing

Associated Press - October 10, 2008 3:34 PM ET INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (AP) - A suburban Kansas City man convicted in a woman's videotaped sex slaying has been formally sentenced to death. Richard Davis, of Independence, officially received the sentence Friday in the May 2006 killing of 41-year-old Marsha Spicer, also of Independence.
