The NBA is less than three weeks away! Not only is there plenty of NBA action ready to go on, the Chicago Bulls look primed for a big run. They got extremely lucky with landing the first overall pick and they are were able to clear up some major contract issues to keep a good core for the future. Their first major move this off-season has to do with the NBA Draft, where they capitalized on a 1.7% chance of landing the first overall pick, they took that pick and chose a player for the future, Derrick Rose. Rose was outstanding in the NCAA Tournament, leading the Memphis Tigers to the NCAA Championship game. He was labeled a more athletic Chris Paul with a slightly worse jump shot.
