It is with real sadness that news arrives that Newmania, a pro-Labour blogger of some note, has decided to quit. As if to emphasise the blogger’s lack of time, the bad news was made in this terse statement: “I’m afraid for reasons of earning a living I’m shut again. Suffice to say the down turn is already claiming victims and we are, once again right in the …oh well better get on.” The blog archive, for now at least, remains online and it’s worth a read, if for not other reason than to confirm what a loss to the blogging community this decision truly is.
