BRUSSELS, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Turkey should waste no more time and negotiate seriously over conditions to make the planned $12 billion Nabucco gas pipeline a reality, a top EU official said on Friday. The project is designed to bring central Asian gas to Europe via Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. Supporters say it is vital to wean the region from over-dependence on Russian energy. 'I encourage my Turkish friends to engage now seriously in the discussions in view of making Nabucco operational as of 2013,' said Olli Rehn, who as EU Enlargement Commissioner is charged with assessing Turkey's bid to join the 27-member bloc....
