Only a short while ago one of our regular posters commented about it having all gone quiet on the John Mikel Obi front. If you recall there was some doubt as to the legality of his transferand questions were raised about the fee we paid to both Lyn Oslo and Manchester United. Well now the subject has well and truly resurfaced with Chelsea now launching legal action against Lyn Oslo and their former chief executive Morgen Andersen. Following Andersen's trial, in which he was found guilty of fraud and making false accusations, Chelsea are trying to recover the full cost of Mikel's transfer believing the player was not under contract to Lyn Oslo at all when they signed him.
