Tucson, Arizona | Published: 10.10.2008 PRESCOTT, Ariz. — Perched underneath a shade tree in the parking lot of Catholic Charities Community Services' office late Tuesday afternoon, Michael Prowker and his wife, Lauren, contemplated their next move. The couple, standing next to their worn-down mountain bikes, had hit a snag in an arduous journey and needed just two new tires to finish the trip. But this was a minor bump in the road for Michael, 48, and Lauren, 49, who have spent the past two months trekking more than 815 miles from Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Prescott, on their bicycles in search of work in metropolitan Phoenix.
