Air Namibia Launch Walvis International Route

Posted to the web 10 October 2008 Staff Reporter AIR Namibia yesterday introduced its new international route, linking Cape Town and Johannesburg with the upgraded Walvis Bay International Airport. According to a press statement, market research was done on the potential of this new regional route and continuous requests and enquiries indicated the demand both locally and internationally to have access to Walvis Bay. "Access to the international markets and economical opportunities that Walvis Bay as a harbour and the Erongo Region in the mining sector offer has now become accessible to all thanks to the country's flagship carrier, Air Namibia," the statement read.
