Stocks Likely To See Further Downside In Early Trading - U.S. Commentary

- After closing lower in each of the seven previous sessions, the U.S. stock markets are likely to see some further downside in early trading on Friday. The major index futures are indicating a sharply lower open, as traders continue to express concerns about the outlook for the global economy. While the world's governments and central banks have taken significant steps to try to stem the effects of the current credit crisis, traders have continued to sell stocks over the past two weeks amid worries that the efforts will not be enough to avert a recession.
