Since his devastating diagnosis on July 17, three-year-old Sam Iddon from Billingham has undergone a course of treatment and is now in remission. His parents Rachael and Brian, both 33, remain positive thanks to the ongoing support of family, friends and medical staff, as well as children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent. And on Sunday, they will join a group of fundraisers taking part in a daring abseil from the Transporter Bridge in a bid to help other families facing the same trauma.
