Fifth suspect in Aug. 23 shooting turns self in

The Courier-Journal • October 10, 2008 A 27-year-old Louisville man turned himself in to the Louisville Metro Police Department at about 10:22 last night in connection with an Aug. 23 shooting in the Park Hill public housing complex that left one man dead and two others injured. Cashaye Whaley has been charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence. Whaley is one of the suspects indicted Wednesday for alleged involvement in the shooting, according to police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley.
