Review of Champion Tour's '08 majors

Senior PGA Championship, Oak Hill Country Club, Rochester, N.Y., May 22-25 Despite shooting a final round of 4-over-par 74, Jay Haas won his second Champions Tour major in three years. His winning score of 7-over 287 was the highest in relation to par in the 51-year history of the event. Haas finished one stroke ahead of Bernhard Langer of Germany. Senior British Open Championship, Royal Troon Golf Club, Ayrshire, Scotland, July 24-27 John Cook watched a three-stroke lead with 10 holes remaining disappear, capped by a bogey on the final hole of regulation, then saw relative unknown Bruce Vaughan make a 20-foot putt on the first hole of sudden death.
