By Jeff Wicks Police are making inroads against Chatsworth's drugs problem with Durban's organised crime unit, in co-ordination with other law-enforcement wings, arresting 36 dealers and users, and seizing drugs and assets valued at more than R500 000 in the past three months. The arrests and confiscations resulted from intelligence-based operations. The unit, working closely with the metro police and the national intervention unit, raided a Chatsworth home on Wednesday night. Two men were arrested, and crack cocaine and mandrax valued at R22 000 were seized. Police officers entered the house and found two children, aged eight and 14, who were alone. In another co-ordinated swoop, one man was arrested and heroin worth R50 ,000 was confiscated. Chatsworth has recently been the scene of a bloody turf war among drug dealers....
