Wynton Marsalis is a busy fellow. Given the range of roles he has assumed - trumpeter, band leader, composer, author, educator - that shouldn't seem surprising. But it's not until the 46-year old starts to talk about Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New York music and education program he co-founded in 1987, that one truly gets a sense of how much he has been up to. "This year, we have over 3,000 events," he says over the phone from his office in New York. "If you think of 20 years of programming, all the things that we've done. ...
