Six years after the shooting death of Antonio Romeo in southern NSW, witnesses to the convicted drug offender's murder are still too scared to speak to police. The lack of evidence has left police speculating about the motive for the Griffith killing, including that it was retribution after Mr Romeo cheated on the daughter of a NSW crime boss. NSW State Coroner Mary Jerram on Friday found Mr Romeo, 46, died "as the result of a gunshot wound to the chest administered by a person or persons unknown, a homicide".
