Posted to the web 10 October 2008 Hillary Nsambu Kampala BUGANDA Road chief magistrate Margaret Tibulya has been transferred to Mbale in a reshuffle of magistrates and deputy registrars. According to the judiciary's public relations officer, Elias Kisawuzi, Tibulya is expected to move to her new station on October 20. "The new chief magistrate to replace Tibulya will be appointed in the future," Kisawuzi told journalists on Wednesday at his offices in Kampala. Tibulya's transfer comes at a time when she is trying high profile cases, such as the sale of property belonging to the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council involving the Mufti and controversial businessman Hassan Basajjabalaba.
