Astronauts can 'discover' oil

Francois Williams Cape Town - Photographs of the Earth taken by astronauts from the International Space Station can be used to determine where oil might be found underground. This is the seemingly far-fetched idea of Dr Justin Wilkinson, chief scientist at Jacobs engineering, a division of the American space agency, NASA.
