ImageOut film festival presents important points of view

Long-running event celebrates rich variety of gay perspectives For 16 years, ImageOut has been bringing a unique and important point of view to Rochester's movie screens — the gay perspective. We know it's not one perspective; it's a collection of points of view as varying as those in any substantial segment of our diverse community. That's been one of the gifts of the annual Rochester Lesbian & Gay Film & Video Festival, opening tonight and running through Oct. 19. For gay film-goers, the festival gives them a rare opportunity to enjoy people and experiences on the screen with which they can more easily identify.
