The House Bunny: One bunny that deserves boiling and a hack horror flick

The House Bunny (12A) The House Bunny has two things going for it. One is Anna Faris, the only watchable element of the Scary Movie franchise. She's the nearest thing to a Goldie Hawn or a Judy Holliday that modern Hollywood has thrown up - a talented actress adept at playing a dumb blonde. The other promising aspect is that it was written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, who together wrote the screenplay for Legally Blonde, the refreshing 2001 comedy which starred Reese Witherspoon. Anna Faris as the House Bunny: Who needs A grades if you've got D-cups? Regrettably, this is not on the same level. One explanation is that it is produced by the perennially adolescent Adam Sandler.
