Musgrave, Markey trade jabs

The candidates for the 4th Congressional District accuse each other at a CSU debate of ethical lapses. By Monte Whaley The Denver Post FORT COLLINS — Marilyn Musgrave and Betsy Markey didn't quite call each other corrupt at a debate Thursday night at Colorado State University, but they did call each other out for supposed ethical lapses. Markey, a Democrat, pointed out Musgrave has taken thousands of dollars from banks and oil and gas companies during her three terms in Congress. Musgrave, trying to keep the 4th Congressional District seat for the GOP, targeted Markey for allegedly enriching her family's company while working for U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar.
