Newsday goes deep with Long Island high school football. BY GREGG SARRA How about some midseason awards for the high school football season? So far I've seen some great performances and here's a sampling of the better players through the first four weeks. Now, I haven't seen everyone, so give me a break and help me out a little bit. Let's throw some names around and see who everyone likes. Hereare some players who've had a big impact on their teams and the current standings. If I were drafting and my team had, let's say, the 11th pick in the draft, I'd make out a list of my top 10 at every position.
