Tribune-Star staff report INDIANAPOLIS — Terre Haute North High School’s fourth-ranked boys cross country team settled for third place in the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference meet Wednesday at Ben Davis, finishing nine points behind No. 5 North Central. Top-ranked Carmel had five of the top eight runners. The Patriots’ girls team was sixth. Both Terre Haute South squads were last out of eight teams. North’s John Mascari and Brandon Query earned All-MIC honors with respective sixth- and ninth-place finishes. Mascari finished the 5,000-meter race in 16 minutes, 9.13 seconds, while Query crossed the finish line in 16:12.67. North freshman Emily Cotterman was seventh in the girls 5K race for All-MIC honors with a time of 19:29.57.
