Larson, Timothy Joseph (57), Retired Chief Warrant Officer Timothy J. Larson, of the United States Coast Guard, Winston, Oregon, died suddenly Saturday, October 4, 2008. He was born to Imogene and Vernon A. "Boots" Larson on January 20, 1951, in Mason City, Iowa. He attended Holy Family School and graduated from Newman High School in 1969. He enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1969 and served 30 years of Active Duty, retiring in 1999. He married Rhonda Thomas in 1984. They later divorced. He was the father of two wonderful children, Lauren, age 23 and Ryan, age 20. Tim was a very loving father and his kids meant the world to him.
