Former Military Leaders to Hold Town Halls with Hampton Roads Veterans On Sunday, October 12th, Lieutenant General Claudia Kennedy and the 15th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps John Estrada will headline a Veterans for Obama town hall in Virginia Beach. Obama was an early supporter of U.S. Jim Webb’s 21st Century GI Bill, and as president he will fully fund the VA and have a zero tolerance policy for homelessness among veterans.
