Adult Education Offers Super Saturday Classes

Posted on: Thursday, 9 October 2008, 15:00 CDT LEWISTON - Lewiston Adult Education is preparing for its biannual Super Saturday collection of morning and day-long workshops designed to help residents learn something new, build computer skills or be creative. This fall's Super Saturday will take place on Oct. 18 at Lewiston High School. Workshops will include: Clay Creations: Spend a morning using polymer clay to create designs and learning how to create beads for jewelry and decorations for everyday objects such as pens and containers; 9 a.m. to noon; $15 plus a $10 lab fee. Create an Heirloom Teddy Bear: Participants will hand-sew a traditional, fully-jointed, 12-inch mohair teddy bear; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; $30 plus a $35 lab fee.
