From staff reports The Daily Sentinel Published September 27, 2008 - Updated 51 minutes ago Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) President Dr. David Campbell recently participated in a program to announce the official activation of the online Encyclopedia of Alabama. Campbell serves as chair of the Alabama Humanities Foundation (AHF) which along with Auburn University and other state universities, agencies, and individuals developed the online encyclopedia project. Since its launch, the Encyclopedia of Alabama has been described in editorials as “. . . one of nation’s most advanced Internet encyclopedias” by The Birmingham News and “the state’s latest asset” by The Huntsville Times.
