RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)-- Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) today announced that it has been awarded multiple patents by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. U.S. Patent 7,421,342 B2 entitled "Network-Assisted Global Positioning Systems, Methods and Terminals including Doppler Shift and Code Phase Estimates" improves the efficiency of Global Positioning System (GPS) capabilities when using future hybrid satellite-terrestrial phones and devices. According to the patent's inventor, Gary G.
