Dale Earnhardt Jr. summed it up the best, “Some guys need to learn how to bump, a couple of them, they hit too hard, and it doesn’t accomplish anything.” These were the words of a very frustrated Dale Earnhardt Jr, after Carl Edwards tried bumping his teammate Greg Biffle to the lead going into turn 3, but instead bumped him a little too hard and triggered the big one on lap 174. Also collected in the crash was his other Roush/Fenway teammate Matt Kenseth, who is also a chase racer. All in all, Carl was able to take out a total of 11 cars, 5 of them were in the Chase for the Sprint cup Championship which included himself, as well as Greg Biffle, Matt Kenseth, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kyle Bush and Kevin Harvick.
