RWE, TenneT to jointly oversee power grids

FRANKFURT, Oct 9 (Reuters) - German utility RWE and TenneT, the Dutch power grid operator, plan to jointly oversee the flow of electricity in their grids to better safeguard fluctuating power supply. The two companies said on Thursday they have founded a joint venture, based for the time being in the German city of Rommerskirchen, that aims at foreseeing bottlenecks in the capacity of networks and at increasing security of supply at the border.
