Author: Joe Martin Published: 9th October 2008 In a move that has probably come about as a side effect of the Vivendi Activision merger with Blizzard, Sierra is shutting down servers for 21 of its most classic computer games, many of which can easily be considered all-time classics. What exactly is going to happen to Sierra has long been an issue for Activision Blizzard and already several in-development games coming from the publisher have been cancelled. In fact, the last we heard, several attached development studios were being assessed for sale or closure, including Massive Entertainment of World in Conflict fame.
