Weather: Cloudy skies becoming mostly sunny

It’s a few weeks before the birthday of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, but let’s celebrate a bit early with his poem about October, which includes the verse: “And I rose In a rainy autumn And walked abroad in shower of all my days High tide and the heron dived when I took the road Over the border” See Extra Stuff below for the rest of the poem. The National Weather Service says there will be showers this morning, cloudy and then become mostly sunny with the possiblity of a few isolated showers this afternoon. It will be breezy with highs in the upper 60s and southwest winds will be 15 to 25 mph with a chance of rain at 70 percent. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the mid 50s and west winds 10 to 15 mph.
