Brown has emerged as the leading rusher for St. Joseph, which will play its Homecoming game against Snook at 7 p.m. Friday. The junior is playing football for the first time since middle school, joining the Eagles after projected starting running back Shane Peevey suffered a season-ending injury early during two-a-days. The Eagles are 3-1 overall and 1-0 in district with Brown giving St. Joseph another offensive threat alongside the passing game led by quarterback Alec Castilleja.
