Jones targets derby return

Jones, Sunderland's top scorer last season, has not played since early June after hurting his knee while on international duty. But the big striker is nearing fitness and Sunderland boss Roy Keame hopes to have him available for the game against Newcastle United on October 25. Jones is currently in Trinidad on compassionate leave after a bereavement in his family, but is training with the T&T national team while he is there.
